About the Speaker:

Dr. James Campbell is Professor of Medicine and active in patient care at the University of Nebraska. He is medical director for Clinical Information Systems at the Nebraska Medical Center and teaches medicine and informatics within the graduate studies program. His areas of research include ambulatory and preventive care, clinical vocabulary and clinical decision support systems. He is currently a member of the SNOMED editorial board, is active in the American Medical Informatics Association, and maintains working membership in standards organizations including HL7.
